Terms and Conditions for BrambleTail Groomery
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by BrambleTail Groomery. By booking an appointment or utilizing any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Services Offered
BrambleTail Groomery provides a range of pet grooming and care services, including but not limited to:
- Full-service pet grooming
- Breed-specific styling
- Pet bathing and drying
- Nail trimming
- Ear cleaning
- Flea and tick treatments
- Pet dental care (non-anesthetic)
- Mobile grooming services
2. Appointments and Cancellations
Appointments for all services can be made through our online platform or by contacting us directly.
- We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
- Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.
- No-show appointments will be charged the full service fee.
3. Pet Health and Safety
- All pets must be up-to-date on their vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be required.
- Clients must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or behavioural issues their pet may have prior to any service.
- For the safety of our staff and other animals, aggressive pets may be refused service.
- In the event of an emergency or injury during grooming, BrambleTail Groomery reserves the right to seek veterinary care at the owner's expense.
4. Flea and Tick Policy
If fleas or ticks are found on your pet during grooming, a mandatory flea and tick treatment will be applied at an additional charge to prevent infestation of our premises.
5. Pricing and Payment
- All prices for our services are listed on our site or can be obtained by contacting us.
- Payment is due in full at the time of service completion.
- Additional charges may apply for matted coats, aggressive behaviour, or other special circumstances requiring extra time or resources.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
While we take utmost care and precaution, there are inherent risks in pet grooming.
- BrambleTail Groomery will not be liable for any injury, illness, or death of a pet unless directly caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.
- We are not responsible for allergic reactions or adverse effects that may result from new products used on your pet, provided the product was used as intended and the client did not disclose known allergies.
- Owners understand that de-matting can sometimes reveal skin issues or irritations previously hidden by matted fur.
7. Mobile Grooming Services
For mobile grooming services, please ensure:
- A safe and accessible parking spot is available for our grooming vehicle.
- Access to an electrical outlet is available if required by the groomer on arrival.
- Clients are readily available for drop-off and pick-up of their pet within the scheduled window.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
